Computer Tutorial and Resources

A computer is an electronic device or equipment that processes data, performs numerous activities, and performs calculations based on instructions from hardware or software programs. By combining the components of the software and integrated hardware, the computer is uniquely created to execute certain programs that provide a wide range of solutions to problems. Computers have become an important part of our life because they can perform simple jobs repeatedly without becoming bored and difficult activities repeatedly without making mistakes.

Why do we need to learn about computers?

  • Computers are the capital to get jobs - almost every company requires that their staff be able to use computers. They usually state the minimal requirements for mastering Microsoft office word and excel. It would have been simple if we had learned computer science.
  • Computers make it easy for us to perform tasks - teachers and lecturers frequently assign homework that must be completed on a computer. It would be easier to complete the task if we could operate the computer. Likewise, if an employee receives a project from their office and completes it using a computer, the job is completed swiftly.
  • Computers make us more creative and innovative - as we work with various applications on our computer, we will learn new things. We can also engage in a great deal of creativity, such as editing images, designing outfits, and creating greeting cards, among other things.
  • Computers facilitate remote communication - we must wait days for the news to arrive by mail. With the advancement of computer technology, news can now be received remotely in seconds. Indeed, we can communicate while viewing photographs of our speakers. Skype, Yahoo Messenger, webcams, and other computer programs are examples of applications that provide such features.

  • Transaction processing, which includes dealings with suppliers, employees, and consumers, is the primary goal of business. These transactions can be made simple and accurate with the help of computers.
  • Computers are utilized in the banking industry to store customer information and handle activities such as cash withdrawals and deposits at ATMs.
  • In hospitals, computers are used to track patients' medical histories, diagnoses, X-rays, and live patient monitoring, among other things. In addition, robotic surgical instruments are currently used by surgeons to undertake delicate operations and to conduct surgeries remotely.
  • Computers have substantially aided the country's defense institutions in creating missiles, satellites, and rocket launches.
