DevOps Tutorial and Resources

DevOps is a combination of two terms, namely Development and Operations. It allows both to work simultaneously, thus making the overall project a quality project, and it doesn’t let other core developers or operators work individually. Rather, they must put a combined effort into achieving the target. DevOps tutorial can help you learn new tools. As part of continuous integration and development, it will help to learn project management with tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Openstack, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, etc. In addition, tutorials on DevOps will help provide insights on tools and techniques that are useful for project management.

Why Do we need to learn DevOps?

DevOps has come a long way and has become a necessity to be learned. Its main aim is to learn overall project management with the development and Operations team putting a combined effort. What needs to be learned is to overcome the traditional way of software development and mitigate the consumption of overall time and quality of the product whing developed and goes into production.

  • All the teams followed the old conventional ways of development and testing independently. However, a lack of mutual coordination and chaos created the need for DevOps.
  • It is faster and more effective because it includes continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • The software must undergo several stages or phases of the DevOps lifecycle, making the entire software more qualitative.
  • Builds provided to the end customer are also more satisfactory.
  • Manual code deployment becomes a big no, leading to a series of errors.

Applications of DevOps

Many applications exist and depend on automation, monitoring, continuous integration, and overall deployment in DevOps.

  • Payroll systems or ledgers can keep track of your salary or any record-oriented data.
  • A financial management system associated with any investment-related queries, employee’s retirement investigation queries.
  • The crew scheduling manager will oversee the scheduling of flights and flight timings.
  • The Healthcare industry stores patient information and correlate test data and medication needed to be given.
  • The entertainment industry is taking amazon and amazon prime services using DevOps at its peak.

Example

A brief example of how DevOps work with the applications. Payroll systems are the applications that keep records on the system, and those systems are stable, and no more frequent updates must be made; therefore, it uses DevOps according to the requirement.
