Soft skills in the workplace have very proper meanings. People skills or personal characteristics define a very high emotional intelligence level. Whereas hard skills, usually technical skills of an employee, can be described as his ability to perform a particular job in a company, across the specific job title, and across the entire industry. You can also describe soft skills as skills that characterize the relationship with other employees at the workplace. Soft skills are also known as ‘Peoples Skills,’ ‘Interpersonal Skills,’ and ‘Transferable Skills.

Soft skills development activities are skills related to emotional intelligence, which is the ability to recognize and manage the emotions of others and yourself in the workplace.
