What is Unlearning?

Unlearning refers to intentionally letting go of old information, beliefs, or assumptions to adapt to new information, experiences, or environments. It does not mean deleting memories but involves challenging previously held beliefs and being open to new possibilities. Think of your brain as a hard drive; you have to delete old files to make room for the latest updates.

 

 

Example: A seasoned manager who is used to face-to-face communication might need to unlearn traditional management styles to embrace remote leadership techniques effectively.
