JMeter Configuration File

Let’s see the JMeter configuration file as follows:

In this file, we can also set the maxlength of the Logger as below.

The Log4j2 file contains two main parts that are Appenders and Loggers. Appenders are responsible for different formatting messages inside the log file in this file. In other words, we can say that it is used to specify the pattern of log messages, the default pattern as shown in the below screenshot.

If we want to see the log, we need to restart the JMeter, as shown in the screenshot below.

We have another option to change the configuration file,e, which is Command-Line. JMeter, we need to specify the flag with the help of JMeter. So first, we need to revert all the changes in the log4j2 file and restart the JMeter.

If we want to change the log level through the Menu, it has different options such as ERROR, WARN, INFO, DEBUG, TRACE, etc.
