Adil Hussain is an Indian film and stage actor. He has worked in Indian, Hindi, English, Tamil, Bengali, French, Malayalam, Assamese, Marathi, and Norwegian films and television. He has appeared in films such as The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Life of Pi, English Vinglish, and Mukti Bhawan. He has won numerous awards, including two National Film Awards, and a Filmfare Award.

 

 

Early Life of Adil Hussain

Adil Hussain is an Indian actor born in Assam, India on October 5, 1963. He attended B. Borooah College in Guwahati and graduated at age of 22 with a degree in philosophy. After college, he went to the National School of Drama in New Delhi to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He graduated in 1993 and began working in theater and television. He has since established himself as one of the leading actors in Hindi, Assamese, and international cinema. He has appeared in numerous films, including Life of Pi, English Vinglish, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, and Mukti Bhawan. He also starred in the television show “Jasoos Vijay,” which the BBC World Service Trust produced.
