The museum has had two exhibitions since its debut. Other rotating ones like Americans and the Holocaust and One thousand and Seventy-One Blue Skies are great to explore.

The American Witnesses is one more exhibit to explore.

Hall of Remembrance

Memorialize by lighting candles or visiting the eternal flame. Reflect in silence in its hexagonal hall.

Permanent Exhibition

Designed by Ralph Appelbaum, this exhibition is the museum’s most-visited exhibit.

With 900+ artifacts, four theatres projecting historical accounts of the massacre, and 70 video monitors, the exhibition marks itself as the storehouse of survival objects.

The three-storeyed building is a living memorial book on display.

This 54 ft monument portrays the dark reality of the Holocaust through a collage of images.

The extermination of the entire community of Eishyok, a small market town in Eastern Europe, comes out as an eye-opener for visitors.

From the displays of the Danish rescue boat to Torah Ark defacement, the German rail car, and the ghetto cart used for transporting victims to death, the pieces of evidence weave out the horror of Nazi-led genocide.

The exhibits present numerous Holocaust-era objects like artworks, letters, documents, clothing, and household objects.

  • It is mounted on a lattice frame, and the poignant symbols of atrocity display the life of Eiysoks in the pre-and post-Holocaust era.
  • The collection implicitly takes you through the journey of the ill fate of Eishyokianslife full of cheer to transforming into piles of graves.
  • The Einsatzgruppen,.i.e, the mobile killing Nazi squad’s brutal killings to digging them into piles of pits alive, the images are mind-numbing from the horror.
  • As the visitors walk through the floors of the gigantic towers, they witness different eras of the Holocaust.

Nazi Assualt: 1933-1939

The initial floor takes one through the rise of Nazis and Germany and their atrocities. It covers the voyage of St. Louis, Poland Invasion as its highlights.
