The City Palace in Udaipur is the state’s architectural wonder. The most popular tourist attraction in Udaipur, City Palace, is an example of the splendor enjoyed by the rulers of Mewar centuries ago. It still appears to be magnificent. #2 Lake Pichola

Lake Pichola is an artificial lake in the heart of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The city’scity’s oldest and one of the largest lakes, Lake Pichola, is why we call Udaipur the “City of Lakes.” This lake, 3 miles long and 2 miles wide and was built in 1362, is an essential part of Udaipur and by far its best feature. #3 Sajjangarh Palace

The Sajjangarh Palace, also known as Monsoon Palace, located on a hill just outside of Udaipur’s main city, is unquestionably one of the best places to visit in Udaipur. Sajjangarh Palace was the former royal residence of the Other Mewar dynasty, which ruled over this region for centuries.

Maharana Sajjan Singh built the palace in 1884 to better monitor the approaching monsoon clouds. Sajjangarh Palace / Monsoon Palace is a magnificent work of architecture. It contains wide corridors, lights, and rooms made of white marble. However, the view from the palace’s windows is its best feature.

Eklingji Temple, located 22 kilometers north of Udaipur, is one of Rajasthan’s most prominent temples. Eklingji Temple, constructed in the eighth century, is a great place to think about Lord Shri Ekling Ji. The temple is located in Udaipur’s Kailashpuri district. Eklingji, founded by Bappa Rawal, is said to have been the ruling idol of Mewar rulers. The Shivlinga, adorned with a silver snake, is a popular tourist attraction.

#5 Fateh Sagar Lake

Fateh Sagar Lake is an artificial lake built northwest of Udaipur

Fateh Sagar Lake, built in 1687, is the city’s second-largest lake. Opposite the Moti Magri Mahal entrance is located on the northern side of Lake Pichola. It got its name after Maharana Fateh Singh. Nehru Park a large island on the lake.

This island also has a small zoo and a popular local picnic spot. This charming lake, set against the backdrop of the sprawling Aravallis offers scenic boat rides to the three islands.

Location:  Dewali, Udaipur, Rajasthan

Timings: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
