Unakoti Unakoti is the oldest Shaivite pilgrimage site in the Kailasahar subdivision of the North Tripura district. It is well-known for its rock-cut sculptures, carvings, and bas-reliefs depicting Hindu gods and goddesses. It is thought to date back to the 7th-9th century AD when Tripura’s kings ruled the region.

3. Neermahal

Neermahal is a spacious palace in the middle of a lake in West Tripura’s Tripura district. It was built in 1930 by Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya Bahadur and is India’s only water palace. The palace, surrounded by lush green vegetation, blends traditional Hindu and Mughal architecture.
