#1 Panambur Beach

Mangalore is unquestionably the cleanest city in the country, and Panambur beach is one of the town’s most pristine beaches. The beach’s name is after the words ‘Panam’ (money) and ‘ur’ (place). Enjoy water rides, sunbathing, boat skiing, horseback riding, and other activities. Panambur Beach is 13 kilometers from Mangalore to the south of Mangalore port. It attracts tourists and locals yearly because it hosts various events such as boat racing, kite festival, and sand sculpture competitions. Bejai is a two-story apartment with numerous historical collections such as coins, weapons, armor, paintings, and other collections that will leave you speechless. The Bejai Museum, built in 1955 by Col. V.R. MIrajkar, is the city’s only museum and a visual treat for history buffs and archaeologists.

The Srimanthi Bai Government Museum, or the Bejai Museum, is present in the city’s heart and is Mangalore’s only museum. It has a collection of paintings, statues, ancient coins, and inscriptions that display India’s rich heritage.
