#1 The Golden Temple

This temple in Amritsar needs no introduction. Globally, it is famous as the “Golden Temple”. The temple is also known as Harminder Sahib. The main temple is of gold. You will marvel at the beauty of its shine. Thousands of devotees come to the temple to pray every day. After the prayer, devotees receive delicious Karha Prasad. It is so relishing you will never forget its taste in a lifetime. A pond surrounds the temple adding to its beauty of it. People take a dip there before going to offer prayers inside the temple. #2 Shri Krishna Mandir

The temple is a dedication to Lord Krishna. It prides itself on the serene and peaceful atmosphere it provides. It is the abode for spirituality and peace. Find the sadhus meditating on the temple premises. The temple also offers free langar services on some occasions. Hindu mythology is at the core of this temple and reflects in it.

#3 Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple

The temple is on the hilltop area of Dungh in Punjab. It is on the banks of river Ravi near Shahpur Kandi Dam. The temple is a dedication to Lord Shiva and has a white marble Shivling. The temple also has idols of Lord Ganesha, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Hanuman. There are caves near the temple. It is a belief that caves are so ancient that Pandavas came there. Every year, the temple holds Mukserna da Mela. Devotees attend the fair in huge numbers.

#4 Durgiana Temple

The architecture looks similar to the Golden Temple. When people offer prayers to Golden Temple, they also visit Durgiana Temple. The temple is a dedication to Goddess Durgiana. A sacred lake surrounds the temple. The Guru Harsai Mal Kapoor built the temple in 1912 with extensive marble. Colorful lights decorate the dome of the temple at night. The other temple names are Lakshmi Narayana Temple, Durga Tirth, and Sitla Mandir.

#5 Kali Mata Mandir

It is one of the most famous temples in Punjab. The temple is a dedication to Goddess Kali. Goddess Kali is a strong figure about time, death, and destruction. Sikh Maharaja Bhupinder Singh built it in 1936. The temple is present amidst lush green fauna. There is a rush of devotees on Sunday. The temple consists of beautifully intricate carvings.

#6 Mata Mansa Devi Temple

The temple is among the holiest pilgrimages in Punjab. It is a dedication to Goddess Mansa Devi. The structure of the temple is majestic. Locals believe that the wishes come true of devotees who visit the temple. The celebration of the Navratri festival happens with grandeur and pompously in the temple.

#7 Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib

It is a Sikh Gurudwara built by Sikhs who named the site Fatehgarh after the young boy was killed and built the large Gurudwara in 1843. The Sikh temple emphasizes the sacrifices made by the sons of Guru Gobind Singh. The surrounding atmosphere around the temple is very serene.

#8 Gurudwara Manji Sahib

It is popular as Gurudwara of Alamgir Sahib. It is one of the most famous gurudwaras in Punjab. Guru Gobind Singh stayed for a short time at this place. It is present in a village. The structure is majestic, and it is very peaceful there.
