#1 Modhera Sun Temple

The notion of a “Sun Temple” is not new to India, and there is more than one of these structures throughout the travels around the nation. Nevertheless, the one located in the village of Modhera, which is close to Ahmedabad, is a must-visit. This temple in Ahmedabad, also called Surya Devta, is a dedication to the Sun God and shows some of the beautiful architecture of the past. It is generally agreed upon that the temple’s construction is around the 11th century. There is a reflection of the Maru-Gurjara style, sometimes called the Chaulukya style, which is present in the temple’s architectural flourishes. This style is also known as the Chaulukya style.

#2 Shri Hanumanji Temple

The Shri Hanumanji Temple, which is in Shahibaug, is one of the oldest temples in Ahmedabad. Pandit Gajanan Prasad created this expansive and fascinating sanctuary about a century ago. It is famous as the Prasad Sanctuary. Despite this, the preservation is in its original state and proudly displays a magnificent statue of Lord Hanuman coated in gold. #3 Jagannath Temple

Another well-known Hindu temple in Ahmedabad is a dedication to the deity Lord Jagannath. It is in the Jamalpur neighborhood of the city, and it serves as a bustling destination for worshippers and tourists. Almost 450 years ago, Sadhu Sarangdasji was the one who built the temple. The well-known Rath Yatra is the most important festival in connection with this temple and is present nationwide. On this particular day, enormous processions are performed around the city, and a chariot carrying Lord Jagannath makes the rounds. Garlands and other brightly colored decorations adorn the chariots. The temple is a beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the scenery simultaneously. People worldwide and from all walks of life travel to this temple to experience its beauty.

#4 Dholeshwar Mahadev Temple

Near Ahmedabad lies a Shiva temple known as Dholeshwar Mahadev Temple. This old and historical temple is a dedication to the god Shiva. There are many stories about it, such as the ones about the Pandavas and Lord Indra. It has beautiful architecture, sculptures, a yoga shala, a gaushala, a nice place to feed birds, and a small garden, among other things. It is on the banks of the peaceful Sabarmati River. Thousands of people who worship Lord Shiva come to this temple to pray, especially on the night of Mahashivaratri, Mondays, and throughout Sravan.

#5 Siddhivinayak Temple

The Siddhivinayak Temple is a dedication to the Hindu god Ganesha. It is in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, which is around 30 kilometers away from Ahmedabad. It is also the city’s most beautiful tourist location. In addition to being one of the most crucial temple constructions, it has a lift facility. The shrine’s importance increases because the idol at the Siddhivinayak temple looks like the one in Mumbai.
