Hybrid Model

Introduction to Hybrid Model

The hybrid model is defined as a type of model that is made up of a combination of different models. It is considered a mixture of CPM (impression based) and CPC (performance based) models. According to the computer aided design, this modeling is classified as a combination of various modeling techniques that can be used in a single workflow. There are mostly four types of hybrid modeling that can be used for modeling data that includes polygonal modeling, boundary representation modeling, voxel data, and point cloud modeling. Using hybrid modeling gives the model that can be used for one single type of workflow.

Why do we use Hybrid Model?

It has several advantages and because of that, it is preferred over other models.

1. Reduce the need for training: As this model is used for the management of human capital the training duration for staff members and also the dependency for provided the training is reduced. In it, finding the staff member with proper experience is very rare which can be a setback for the hybrid model.

2. Provide better security: By using this model the privacy and security can be increased which can be beneficial for the organization. This model combines the two or more model to form one hybrid model for the single workflow so the security measures need to be high for the model.

3. Maintain standards: The standards can be maintained while using the hybrid model for the organization’s operation and process. The collaboration can also be enhanced while using this model in the organization.

How does Hybrid Model works?

There are some steps that are involved in working on this model.

Step 1: The identification of skills is there for the organization. The knowledge area is identified where proper training is required for the employee and also the skill area that is weak is identified. By the identification of the weak skills, they can be improved by the hybrid model.

Step 2: It is a hybrid model, in this step the identification of human capital is there that includes the knowledge and skills which are always in high demand but there is low supply. The demand is not get fulfilled because of improper management of resources. This model is capable of identifying that resources and helping to overcome the problem of the low supply of those resources.

Step 3: The employees that are experts in a particular domain are separated out so that they can be assigned for that particular role in which they are experts so that they can do more better compared to other employee who does the same role with less expertise knowledge. The knowledge areas are separated out and according to that, the employees are assigned the job role for that particular knowledge area.

Step 4: Here it is to design the refill strategies and recruitment models. For the model the proper staff and employees are required that are expertise in one particular domain. As the hybrid model combines different models to form one single model for the single workflow it handles different knowledge areas in a single time and for that proper staff is required for that project.

Step 5: And in last the training is provided for the employees so that they can upgrade their knowledge set and can excel in their working domain that can be beneficial for the organization that is using the hybrid model.

Benefits of Hybrid Model

Given below are the benefits:

1. Training to employee is easy

As the hybrid model is the combination of different techniques, proper training is required for the employee so that they can use the model in a single workflow. The organization that is using the hybrid model for their workflows, should provide proper knowledge and guidance to its employees so that no difficulties are faced by the employee during using this model.

2. Functions and processes become centralized

As this model is used for performing organizational functions it helps to create the central system that manages complete functions and processes carried out in the organization. When there are different models the management becomes difficult as each model has its own functions. By using the hybrid model all the models are combined and can be used for a single workflow and the functions ad process can be managed easily.

3. Increase flexibility for management of human capital model

By using this model for the organization process the flexibility is increased as the combination of the model provides more functions and process that could be beneficial for the organization. The management of human capital can be done properly and flexibility can be increased in this model also by using this model.

4. Proper communication between managers and team members

By using this model for the organization process the communication between team managers and team members also increased and they coordinate more properly by using it. As the model combines different function and process to a single workflow the understanding of the process become better and employees can communicate better with their managers and workflow can be made better.

5. Increase operational improvements

It is measured that by using this model the operations and process can be carried out in a more proper way when it is compared to other models. As the hybrid model combines different model to form one single model the advantage of different models get combined to form one model that has several advantages that helps to execute the process and operations in the more proper way.

Conclusion

The hybrid model is a combination of one or more techniques that is used to form one single workflow. It is advantageous for the organization as it helps to carry out the operation and process in better form compared to other models. The standards of the process can be maintained by using the hybrid model in the organization.
