Adobe Express lets you customize business card templates (3.5 x 2 in, 2 x 3.5 in, or 2 x 2 in) and print custom cards in the same app, with print-to-order delivery in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada. In other countries, download a print-ready PDF, JPG, or PNG and send it to a local printer. For small business owners, freelancers, and individuals creating personalized gifts, custom card design and international printing involve two important considerations: finding a design tool with flexible templates and choosing a printing service that can deliver to the required destination. Whether the project involves business cards, greeting cards, or playing cards, the right combination of design and printing services makes it easier to create and distribute personalized cards across different countries.
Which Print-on-Demand Card Design Templates Offer International Fulfillment?
Adobe Express is both the design tool and the print order. Its business card templates are grouped by trade, including bakery, real estate, photography, landscaping, and personal trainer, and a brand kit can pull in your logo, colors, and fonts so every card matches. Zazzle fulfills printed orders and includes free shipping and returns. Paper choices include 18 pt Signature Matte stock, plus linen, pearlescent, and semi-gloss options.
Fulfillment covers four countries: the US, UK, Australia, and Canada. If you work across borders, a simple setup is to order printed cards for staff in those four markets and export the same design as a high-resolution PDF for printers elsewhere. Adobe recommends images of at least 300 DPI for sharp print results.
Where Can You Get Custom Playing Card Design Templates with Print-on-Demand Worldwide?
Playing cards need a specialist printer because a deck is cut, cornered, and boxed differently from flat cards. Adobe Express does not print playing cards, but it works well for the artwork: design a card back or a set of face cards at the size your printer requests, then download a high-resolution PDF or PNG to upload.
The standard poker size is 2.5 x 3.5 in (about 63.5 x 88.9 mm). Printful offers poker decks at that size with a fully custom back, no minimum order, and worldwide shipping with some country restrictions. Printify’s poker deck holds 52 cards plus two jokers, with a custom back, and ships from fulfillment centers in several regions. MakePlayingCards covers more formats, including bridge, tarot, and Skat sizes, which suit game designers. Always download the printer’s own template first so your bleed and safe area match.
How Do You Print Greeting Cards on Demand Worldwide?
For greeting cards, Adobe Express offers templates for birthdays, holidays, thank-yous, and other occasions, in four print sizes: 5 x 7 in and 3.5 x 5 in, each in portrait or landscape. Paper options are Signature Matte (18 pt, with an eggshell texture), Premium Linen, Pearlescent, and Basic Semi-Gloss. Orders arrive in recyclable packaging in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada.
If recipients live elsewhere, you have two routes. A print-on-demand network such as Gelato routes each order to production partners in 32 countries, printing on 350 gsm silk or matte stock close to the buyer. Mail-for-you services work differently: Handwrytten sends cards from the US to Canada and more than 180 other countries, while Paper Culture mails cards internationally on your behalf but ships boxed orders only within the US.
Which Countries Do Custom Card Design and International Printing Services Cover?
Coverage depends on where the printer produces and where it will deliver, so check both before you design. The table compares the services named above.
| Platform | Best For | Countries Served | Key Details |
| Adobe Express | Designing and ordering business and greeting cards in one place | US, UK, Australia, Canada (print orders); file download anywhere | Business cards 3.5 x 2, 2 x 3.5, 2 x 2 in; greeting cards 5 x 7 and 3.5 x 5 in; PDF, JPG, PNG export |
| Gelato | Selling greeting cards to buyers in many regions | Production partners in 32 countries | 350 gsm silk or matte stock; orders routed to a nearby printer |
| Printful | Poker decks with no minimum | Worldwide, with some country restrictions | 2.5 x 3.5 in cards; custom back |
| Printify | Poker decks sold through an online store | Worldwide, from regional fulfillment centers | 52 cards plus 2 jokers; custom back |
| Handwrytten | Mailing cards directly to recipients abroad | Canada and 180+ countries, sent from the US | International delivery takes about 7 to 21 business days |
A practical pattern for multi-country teams is to keep one master design, order prints where your design tool fulfills, and export print-ready files for every other market. Many printers ask for a bleed of about 3 mm (1/8 in) on each side, but confirm each printer’s file specs before you export.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1. Are business card sizes the same in every country?
Answer: No. The US and Canada use 3.5 x 2 in (about 89 x 51 mm). The UK and most of Europe use 85 x 55 mm, Australia and New Zealand use 90 x 55 mm, and Japan uses 91 x 55 mm. Adobe Express lets you design business cards at any of these sizes, so you can match the local norm before sending files to a printer in that country.
Q2. Can I use Adobe Express if I live outside the US, UK, Australia, or Canada?
Answer: Yes. Templates and design tools work anywhere; only the print-to-order service is limited to those four countries. Elsewhere, download your design as a PDF, JPG, or PNG, then use a local print shop or an international print-on-demand service.
Q3. What file should I send to an international printer?
Answer: A high-resolution PDF is the safest choice for most printers. Use images of at least 300 DPI, build in the bleed your printer specifies, and order a single proof before a large run.
