Abhay Deol

Biography

Abhay Deol is an Indian film actor, producer, and director. He is the nephew of the famous Bollywood actor Dharmendra and cousin of Sunny and Bobby Deol, who are also prominent actors in Indian cinema. Deol made his acting debut in 2005 with the romantic comedy Socha Na Tha. He received the Filmfare Award in the category of Best Male Debut for the same. He has since starred in several critically acclaimed films such as Manorama Six Feet Under (2007), and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008), Dev.D (2009), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), and Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016). Deol also produces and directs films. He produced the movie One by Two (2014), Nanu Ki Jaanu (2018), and Kaalakaandi (2018) and directed the film Road, Movie (2009).
