Tirumala Tirupati

Tirupati is a city in the Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the seven self-manifested shrines and the most visited pilgrimage site in the world. #1 Sri Venkateswara National Park

Sri Venkateswara National Park is a prote cted area in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. It covers an area of 353 square kilometers. It is home to various flora and fauna, including several species of wildlife, birds, and medicinal plants. The park is also home to several temples and holy sites. It is also famous for its waterfalls, including, Gunjana waterfall, Talakona waterfall, and Gundalakona waterfall. The best time to visit here is from June to September, during the monsoons when the park is at its greenest.

Sri Venkateswara National Park

#2 Talakona Waterfall

A scenic waterfall is located in the Sri Venkateshwara National Park. It is the highest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh and is known for its serene surroundings. The waterfall is surrounded by dense forest, and visitors can trek to the waterfall through the forest. There is also a ropeway available that provides a breathtaking view of the waterfall and its surroundings. Visitors to the waterfall can enjoy a dip in the cool waters. #3 Silathoranam

Silathoraman is a natural arch-like rock formation located in the Sri Venkateswara National Park near Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is also known as the “arc-shaped sone” and is considered a unique geological feature. Visitors to Silathoraman can trek to the arc through the dense forest of the national park and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and forests. It is also a popular destination for bird watching, as several species of birds can be seen in the surrounding forests, and also visitors can explore the nearby caves and enjoy a picnic in the surroundings.  

#4 Akasa Ganga Theertham

Akasa Ganga Theertham is a sacred spring in the Sri Venkateswara National Park. It is considered a holy site by the Hindu Pilgrims visiting Tirupati, and is believed to have healing properties. There is also a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located near the spring, where visitors can offer prayers and dip in the holy waters. It is believed to be the place where Lord Vishnu’s consort, Lakshmi, took bath, and Lord Vishnu himself appeared there to fulfill her wish. The water here is considered pure and sacred and is used to perform Hindu rituals.

#5 ISKON Temple

ISKCON Temple in Tirupati is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is a part of the ISKON movement, a worldwide spiritual organization dedicated to promoting the teachings of Lord Krishna as described in the ancient Hindu Scriptures. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture and serene atmosphere and is a popular place of worship for followers of the ISKON movement. The temple regularly holds devotional programs and festivals, such as kirtans, bhajans, and lectures, to promote the teachings of Lord Krishna.
