#1 Fort Aguada

The Arabian Sea and Mandovi Rivers meet at Fort Aguada, a Portuguese fort built in the 17th century. The crumbling walls of the fort can be seen on Sinkerim Beach, 18 kilometers from Panaji. The fort’s most impressive features are its lonely four-story lighthouse, Asia’s only lighthouse, and its breathtaking sunset views.
