Bara Imambara is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Lucknow. It was built in 1784 by the Nawab of Awadh, Asaf-ud-Daula. The building is a perfect example of Nawabi architecture. Bara Imambara complex also includes the BhulBhulaiya, a labyrinth of narrow passageways, and the Shahi Baoli.
