Top Tourist Places in Lakshadweep

The Lakshadweep island may appear as a few utterly trivial dots on an Indian map, but it is a dazzling diamond- and gem jewel gracing India’s southwestern border. It is one of the few wonders that has escaped the grasp of industrialization and progress.

The white seashores, the wetlands that wash its shores, the coastal areas surrounding it, and finally, the deep blue ocean are all inextricably linked. When all of this is considered, Lakshadweep is no longer the smallest but the biggest of India’s territories!

Must Visit Tourist Places in Lakshadweep

There are many beautiful tourist places in Lakshadweep. Some of them are listed below-:

#1 Bangaram

Bangaram is a small teardrop-shaped island near Agatti and Kavaratti. The resort on this island offers an incredible option for visitors to relax from the stresses and strains of modern life. Thinnakara and Parali, are two small islands near Bangaram, surrounded by the same lagoon. Phosphorescent plankton washed up on shore on the coral sands at night give the beach a bluish glow that is completely enchanting. It has its charm as the only uninhabited island resort in Lakshadweep.

The gateway to the islands is essentially Agatti. Here is a 20-bed tourist complex with all contemporary conveniences. Agatti is one of the islands in Lakshadweep most easily accessible since Indian Airlines offers flights there.

The main draws are the lengthy, sandy beaches and sand banks on the southern point. Tourist bungalows constructed amid palm groves and overlooking the lagoon allow visitors to enjoy the ecosystem’s pure beauty. You may rent sailing, kayaks, pedal, skiing, and glass-bottomed boats. Compared to the northern group of islands, Minicoy differs in terms of culture, language, attire, etc. The Lava, a traditional dance from Minicoy that is done during special occasions, is well-known. The tuna catch is processed at a tuna canning factory on Minicoy island, a significant tuna fishing hub. There are amenities for water sports and bathing houses with restrooms on the beaches.

A massive storm bank of coral debris across Kalpeni’s eastern and southeastern shorelines is odd. Huge coral boulders are thought to have been thrown up along these coastlines by a strong storm in 1847. The large lagoon is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or coral walking. Kayaks, pedal boats, and sailboats are all available for water sports. Two restroom huts are located at Koomel Beach. Kalpeni’s visit is included in the Coral Reef package.
