#1 Idukki Dam

The Kerala State Electricity Board constructed the Idukki Arch Dam to generate hydroelectric power for the neighborhood. It is a feat of engineering and is situated 550 feet above sea level. It is one of Asia’s tallest arch dams due to its height. It is also a massive double-curvature dam that can be seen quite a ways away due to its size. The view of this reservoir is breathtaking because granite hills and verdant forest areas surround it.
