#1 Zero Point- The Best View

The “Zero Point” is a popular tourist attraction and viewpoint located at the town’s highest point. It provides panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. #3 Jageshwar Temple

This place is also known as the Ancient Temple Complex and is among the best tourist places in Almora. Jageshwar Temple is a Hindu temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is generally believed that it was between the eighth and eighteenth centuries. It is also regarded as one of the most beautiful examples of Hindu architecture in North India. The temple complex surrounds by towering deodar trees and overlooks the majestic Himalayas. The temple complex contains over a hundred temples and shrines, many of which are intricately carved with details and sculptures. The Dandeshwar Temple, Jageshwar Temple, and Kuber Temple are among the complex’s main temples that are the main tourist attractions.

The temple complex is one of the twelve “jyotirlinga” shrines, where Lord Shiva worshiped as a lingam. Trekkers come to the place and take in breathtaking views of the valleys and Himalayas.

#4 Kasar Devi Temple

The old and small shrines are one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the hill station. The temple dedicates to the Hindu goddess Kasar Devi. She is also a Kali incarnation. A large courtyard surrounds the temple, which is set on a high plinth. The main stone temple has a large central sanctum, several smaller shrines, and intricate carvings.
