Stress Testing Tools

Introduction of Stress Testing Tools

Stress testing is too difficult to perform and its focus is to make the program fail at many incidents and different cases. For example, if the user feds a web browser with many input data and connections it leads to severe crashes and breakage of the network. The happening of crash and reason behind is unremarkable. So the mighty reasons and consequences of the crash and corrupted data at stress testing should be managed and defined. So the stress tester tools should be controlled and designed with many attributes that should be managed at the time of development and customized at deployment. Some of the stress testing tools are discussed in this article.

Top 10 Stress Testing Tools

The overflow of the buffer is the best example of stress testing. Disproportionate input can cause crashes that are equipped for the applications. Generally, all of the performance testing tools and testing tools can also be used for stress testing.

1. WebLoad

It is a tool of preference on web applications and its also used for complex testing and heavy user load requirements. It enables the user to do stress and load testing on producing the load from cloud machines. The advantage of WebLOAD is user-friendly type and flexibility. It makes you define the features of automatic correlation, DOM-based playback, and JavaScript. It gives a clear view of performance on the web application, bottlenecks and pinpointing the errors which are barriers to obtain the response and load requirements. The web protocol supports many enterprise applications with built-in integration of selenium, Jenkins and other tools to allow persistent load testing on DevOps.

2. LoadNinja

LoadNinja is developed by SmartBear which enables the user to develop a codeless comfortable load test that decreases 50% of testing time. It also substitutes load emulators with actual browsers and achieves ninja speed with high actionable of browser-based metrics. It can store interactions of the client, and also debug many programs in real-time and detect instance performance issues. It catalyses the team to expand the testing coverage without eliminating the quality. The quality is maintained by extreme efforts on script scrubbing and translation and dynamic correlation. The team of LoadNinga offers many product teams, testers and engineers to build more applications on a large scale with minimum scripts of load testing.

3. SmartMeter

It is used to create a simple test by SmartMeter which can be implemented in many test circumstances without coding. It is a mostly graphical user interface that has no necessary plugins and no proxy setup. It pulls automatically generated documents with all information about the test. The result comprises of auto-evaluated criteria for accepting the document, and generate many graphs, comparison charts, statistical information, and trending evaluation to run multiple tests. The tool which is robust in distributed testing gives the synchronous performance of testing support on Vaadin applications and provides effective CI integration.

4. LoadView

It is on-demand and efficiently managed which enables end to end hassle free stress and load testing. LoadView executes testing in browsers that give precise and accurate data, which are near to emulating real users. It is based on pay per use process and requires no bonds and contracts. It is scalable which is completely based on the cloud. It can be deployed in any environment in minutes. The advanced load testing includes point and click scripting, testing on browser and infrastructure of global cloud-based.

5. LoadUI Pro

It is a graphical user interface and generates many sophisticated load tests with simple clicks. The LoadUI NG Pro does it simply to model loads of real-world on API. The LoadUI supports SOAP, REST, MQTT, and JMS and many formats of API. The LoadUI is user-friendly which makes it easy for beginners to configure the load instances and offer advanced coding features with maximum experience and knowledge. The building and configuration of the test require less time when compared with the time taken to analyze the result report. It makes the user experience more about the application by utilizing the LoadUI report which explores the performance data of the server. The user can easily configure the global or local distributors required for the load testing circumstances. This tool enables the user to reuse the existing test cases from SoapUI NG Pro and SoapUI. With easy clicks, you can make super transformations and protest many cases to execute performance tests.

6. Apache JMeter

It is available as open-source on the Java platform. It can also be used as a performance testing tool which is combined with the test plan. The functional test plan is also created by using the load test plan. It can be load the network or server which is used to evaluate the performance and compute its operation under various scenarios. It is implemented to test the web applications but now its scope is extended for many purposes.

7. Micro Focus Load Runner

It is implemented by Micro Focus and also used as a tool for performance testing. It is also used for computing and analyzing the results and performance of the system when it is prone to actual load. It can be used by multiple users simultaneously. It is comprised of a controller, virtual user generator and load generator.

8. Loadrunner

It is designed by HP and used to do stress testing and the outcome is generated by Loadrunner and it is measured as standards.

9. Jmeter

It is available as a free and open source. It is based on Java and insisted to perform all types of stress and load testing. The performance and load testing make advanced testing functions by use of JMeter.

10. NeoLoad

It is used to conduct stress testing on all web-based applications and other mobile applications. It has several merits and it can be implemented in all types of servers and also executes stress testing on business intelligence applications, ERP and CRM, etc.
