- Safety: If the user is dependent entirely on the devices to complete his work and the system gets hacked, it may cause serious damage as manual updating has been eradicated.
- Privacy: Privacy may be breached as valuable information is exchanged regarding anything in IOT.
- Compatibility: No international standard has been set as of now for device compatibility. This may create a problem connecting home-based appliances with laptops and mobile phones. For example, Apple devices do not connect with other companies’ devices.
- Complexity: Any interruption in the connectivity would be problematic since everything is dependent on IOT technology only.
- Unemployment: Since all the work will be done by technology, there will be a lesser requirement for the workforce, leading to unemployment.
