#1 Bells Beach

Bells Beach is located around the southern coast of Victoria. If you pass through the Great Ocean Road, you will reach here. It is a 1.5-hour drive from Melbourne and doesn’t take much effort to identify. Bells beach is a popular spot for surfing and is enclosed by rock cliffs that give the view of sand.

#2 Misery Beach

This beach in Australia was termed the best beach of 2022 and picture-perfect. Its pristine water and the calming sound of the waves leave everyone impressed. Misery Beach is at a remote location and is located in Torndirrup. Today, visitors from around the world make sure to visit the beaches in Australia, especially Misery Beach, because of its connection to history. If you visit, you can check the archival footage in the whale oil tanks. Did you know that the farmers have been talking about this beach for almost 40 years?

#3 Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is one of the popular beaches in Australia and is a place for several tourists and locals. It is easily accessible from the main city and has a trendy café nearby for your convenience. You can spend the entire day in the water and enjoy the soothing sunshine. This beach is a perfect place to surf and swim. Surfing lessons are also available for those who are interested!

#4 Lizard Island

Lizard Island is in Queensland and has 24 impressive beaches in Australia. It is covered by a National Park of around 1,000 hectares and has powdered white oceans. This island deeply connects with the European exploration heritage and is a popular marine research destination. It is primarily for adults, but children over 6 years can also visit. Since there are so many beaches on this particular island, you will always find a secluded spot for yourself.

#5 75 Mile Beach

75 Mile Beach is located on Queensland’s Fraser Island. A bloke measured the beach one fine day and realized it was 75 miles long. That’s how the name of the beach was decided. This place has plenty of fishing spots, so you and your family can enjoy an entire day trip without getting bored. Along with fishing, you would also find a swimming spot here (Champagne Pools), a Maheno shipwreck, and a volcanic rock formation.

#6 Mandalay Beach

Mandalay Beach is located around Walpole and is a beautiful destination for tourists. If you are traveling between Walpole and Manjimup, you can stop here and bask in the serene surroundings. It is one of the few beaches in Australia where you might get to see the wrecks of Mandalay. You can get a nice view of Chatham Island and the Southern Ocean here. This place is also popular for whale watching; the best season is between September and June.

#7 Noosa Main Beach

Noose Head Main Beach gives you the perfect coastal vibe where you can relax and enjoy the holidays. You can play, eat, drink, and shop here, as you’d see plenty of boutiques, bars, restaurants, and resorts. Noose allows you to swim or surf for as long as you want. You can also talk a walk through the National Park or enjoy a picnic with friends and family.
