Objectives

The course is focused on the coverage of lifesaving excel tools and functionalities. Learners will gain insight into numerous in-built tools and features in Excel and their application in real life to gain better results.

Here is a highlight of the coverage of the project.

Learners will go through intense training on MS Excel 2016 wherein they will learn about data functions, what-if-analysis, arrays, functions, text functions, pivot tables, advanced charts, etc.

We will continue with the above session and learn about the remaining advanced concepts of excel such as shortcuts, excel controls, cell comments, named ranges and advanced formulas.

We will then focus our energies on data and time functions in excel.

A beginners’ session will be conducted for providing clarity on pivot tables, its features and its formatting.

Then we will resume the session on the pivot table and gain an understanding of other advanced concepts relating to it such as data summarization in the pivot table, pivot charts, printing, macros, power pivot, DAX, etc.

The session will be covered on power pivot in Excel 2016 where we will discuss pivot charts, pivot tables, pie charts and slicers.

Moving on with power pivot, we will get to know as to how to download and install it and organize and format data.

Training will be conducted on power excel. Topics such as functions, pivot tables, evaluation, date and time format, statement and vlookup, future value function and so on.

The tutorial will be there to discuss shortcuts in excel, excel functions, vertical lookups, financial functions and average if function.

The next subject area in the training will be excel charts and smart-art graphics. We will discuss pictures and clip arts, excel charts and data tables, pie charts and line charts, etc.

Knowledge will be imparted on financial functions such as future value, investment valuation with multiple cash flows, calculating the rate of return, analysis of loans and payments and bond valuation.

In the next session, learners will understand the working of statistical tools in excel such as central tendency, standard deviation, data analysis tools, correlation, and regression, etc.

Comprehensive training will be provided on VBA and macros in excel.

In the next session we will gain clarity on macros and VBAs features as well as concepts.

The tutorial will cover the apt presentation method for pivot tables.

We will learn about problem handling and automation to excel through a project.

At last, we will undertake a case study on the performance rating of employees using excel.

Learners will gain insight into excel data simulation through a project.

There will also be a project that will deal with building dynamic heat maps in excel 2016.

We will undertake a project on the creation of basic CRM using excel VBA and SQL express.

There will be a specific project to cover automation using excel VBA.

You will also learn about the creation of an HR attendance register with the help of Excel VBA.

The project will be there subject to the creation of a sales productivity dashboard.

At the next step, the project on the creation of an advanced sales productivity dashboard will be covered.

Learners will undergo training on the creation of a sales dashboard through a project.

Another project will be there to discuss the HR dashboard and its analysis.

In continuance of the above project, an advanced project on the HR dashboard will be conducted.

We will also get to know about interactive dashboards in excel.

Thereafter, we will understand about the creation of a basic project management tool using Treeview and listviews.

Next will a project on the creation of an interactive dashboard using VBA.

A project will there to cover the application of VBA macros.

A specific project will be conducted to discuss the restaurant billing system using excel VBA.

A focused project will be conducted on project schedule indexes.

Another project will be there relating to financial modeling with the use of VBA.
