Autosys Scheduler:

The training is aimed at providing hands – on training to individuals who want to gain fundamental understanding about Autosys. We will use some live examples of how organizations/ teams use it in their project life cycle.

Autosys is an automated job control system for scheduling, monitoring and reporting jobs. It is a Job scheduler; which is basically a computer program used for controlling the unattended execution of a batch processing instructions which includes series of a program being executed at once. Autosys is a product from Platinum, it is a job scheduling software. Most basic job scheduling is done using unix – Cron (or windows – AT), which is time based. However, in real business, you need to fire jobs not just based on scheduled time, but also based on events (like an arrival of a file), and, based on the success or failure of other jobs.
