Introduction to IoT Companies

Internet of things (IoT) has evolved to be the topmost growth driver for business and is highly impacting homes, organizations, and environments across the globe. Internet of Vehicles and smart home technology is already in production and a huge hit. Many companies around the globe are opting for IoT solutions to boost the productivity and efficiency of the company. As a matter of fact, many companies around the globe have already opted for IoT solutions for their business. For example, the banking sector has already invested in IoT solutions to provide rapid service to the customer with the help of kiosks. The health care industry has been incorporating IoT solutions in wearable devices to accumulate patient data.

Let’s look at a few of the major reasons why companies are getting attracted towards IoT solutions:

1. Data Accumulation

With the help of IoT integrated into the device’s companies are able to gather a large number of data regarding internal and external customers. This data gives insight into different customer behaviour and helps the organizations to provide a better customer experience. IoT devices use innovative techniques to track customer purchasing behaviour, and thus companies can promote, cross-sell and thus generate more revenue.

2. Efficiency and Management

IoT devices give complete control over all the ongoing aspects of a business. With the help of IoT, multiple areas of the business can be analyzed and managed. Areas that are not profitable can be optimized and improved. Further, IoT improves the efficiency of a task hence reducing the time spent and increasing productivity.

3. Tracking and Maintenance of Office Equipment

Multiple office equipment such as a printer can be monitored with the IoT embedded in the device. IoT can detect when paper and ink need to be refilled and order them without human intervention in printers. IoT can be embedded in bulbs to make them smarter, hence replacing motion sensors. Lights can be controlled and scheduled when to go on and off; further brightness can be adjusted and monitored according to the time of the day. IoT can be implemented in the coffee machines to make sure the machine is stocked up all the time; this will indirectly increase productivity in the employees. Though implementing IoT solutions initially can be expensive, but it has proved to be an investment in the long run.

4. Smart Office Assistance

Technology such as Amazon’s Alexa for business can be integrated into an organization for tech connectivity. An employee can send an Email without typing and just by telling Alexa to do it; everything from scheduling a transport shuttle to tracking a meeting is all possible with the help of IoT solutions. The cleaning staff is an essential service required by every organization; IoT embedded vacuum can help save money and maintain office cleanliness without any issues. With the IoT technology, the vacuums will indicate when it requires to be emptied and serviced.
